Each candidate was interviewed for thirty minutes, and the screening committee was able to select three finalists for recommendation to the Board of Advisors. Once approved by the Board, each candidate will be brought to WVU Parkersburg campus for interviews and will also be interviewed at the Morgantown campus by President Hardesty and Provost Lang. The finalists will also be interviewed by selected members of the WV Council for Community and Technical Colleges. Once this process is complete, the strengths and weaknesses of each candidate will be submitted to President Hardesty and he will make the final recommendation. Each member of the Board of Advisors will be invited to attend dinner with each of the candidates for the interview process.
After some discussion, Mr. D’Avria made a motion to accept the three finalists proposed by the Screening Committee. Mr. Hayhurst seconded the motion. The motion passed.
