As West Virginia University at
Parkersburg prepares to observe its 50th Anniversary of providing
education opportunities to the Mid-Ohio Valley, the college's
Student Government Association and the WVU at Parkersburg Foundation
has coordinated a commemoration project.
The Foundation and SGA invites you to participate in the Memory
Garden project which links the college's past to the future. By
purchasing a brick inscribed with your name or personal message, you
will permanently make your mark on the campus.
The Memory Garden plaza will be located in the campus front lawn.
Your name or message etched in a brick will symbolize the spirit you felt when
you were on campus. Or, perhaps you would like to honor faculty,
staff, administrators, students alumni or others to be permanently
remembered in a lifetime garden.
We envision that each brick in this special outdoor gathering space
will acknowledge those people who have made WVU Parkersburg the
outstanding educational institution it is today.
