WVU Parkersburg hosting state premiere of film documentary "Divided We Fall"
West Virginia University at Parkersburg will host the state's premier screening of the award-winning documentary film, "Divided We Fall: Americans in the Aftermath," as part of a two-day dialogue program with filmmaker Valarie Kaur on March 25-26. 

WVU Parkersburg to offer Weekend College; students can complete an Associate of Arts degree in one year
Area residents will be able to earn an Associate of Arts degree in one year through a new pilot project to be offered by West Virginia University at Parkersburg.

College named to President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll
West Virginia University at Parkersburg has been named to the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll, the highest federal recognition a college or university can receive for its commitment to volunteering, service-learning and civic engagement.

WVU Parkersburg art faculty named WV Governor's Arts Awards' 2010 Artist of the Year
A West Virginia University at Parkersburg art faculty member is the 2010 winner of Artist of the Year honors in the West Virginia Governor’s Arts Awards’ program.  Zack Orcutt, an art instructor at WVU Parkersburg, was honored at a ceremony and gala March 15 at the Culture Center in Charleston.
