Diversity in a Non-Diverse Environment Workshops

A day-long series of free workshops on "Diversity in a Non-Diverse Environment" will be presented Saturday (Sept. 23) at West Virginia University at Parkersburg.

The 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. program is designed for childcare providers, parents, grandparents and those who have children in their lives.

Topics will include becoming aware; environmental assessment; multi-ethnicity, and celebrating the richness of one’s own culture. The workshops will be held in the college’s multi-purpose room. Participants are on their own for lunch.
