Appalachian Poet to Present Reading

Appalachian poet E.L.P. Hadaway will read from her work Wednesday, Jan. 31, at West Virginia University at Parkersburg.
The free reading, to be held in Room 2203 from 7 to 8:15 p.m., will be followed by a discussion of the topic, "Poetry and Gender."
An adjunct faculty member at WVU Parkersburg, Ms. Hadaway holds masterís degrees in creative writing, English and theological studies and was a Wallace Stevens Fellow in poetry at Stanford University in 1996-98.
The reading is co-sponsored by the collegeís Humanities Division Speakers Series and the English Departmentís Topics in Women Literature class. It is open to the public.
