Confused about weight loss? An expert panel will present information and answer questions Thursday (Nov. 1) during a public forum on Nutrition/Weight Loss being held at West Virginia University at Parkersburg.
The free program is open to the public. It will be held in Room 2536 from 7 to 8 p.m., sponsored by a PSYC 350 course.
Panel members will include David Hawkins, owner of Mother Earth Foods and a master herbalist; Sandie Guthrie of Physicians Weight Loss Centers of America, Inc.; Dr. Bill Johnson II, chiropractor, and Julie Black of the Parkersburg YMCA.
Hawkins will discuss health and herbal remedies. Ms. Guthrie will offer a medical perspective on weight loss. Dr. Johnson will discuss the skeletal affects of body weight, and Ms. Black will talk about health and fitness in regards to weight loss and exercise.
