WVU Parkersburg Observes Week of the Young Child

In observance of the Week of the Young Child, West Virginia University at Parkersburg will host hands-on activities for the entire family on Monday (April 2).

From 4 to 8:30 p.m., free activities will be held in the college multi-purpose room with the theme, "What Do You Want To Be When You Grow Up …"

The Ohio Valley Early Childhood Association and West Virginia Association for Young Children are celebrating the occasion with many local child care centers, preschools, Head Starts, kindergartens and child care advocates expected to participate in the family-oriented activities.
