West Virginia University at Parkersburg will award more than 200 associate and
bachelor's degrees during December Commencement on Friday (Dec. 12).
The 7 p.m. ceremonies will be held in the college's multi-purpose room. Those receiving degrees include August and December graduates.
Addressing the graduates will be Wes Bargeloh, long-time WVU Parkersburg professor of chemistry.
Bargeloh has been a member of the college faculty since 1970. He received his bachelor's degree from Glenville State College and master's from Marshall University.
The August and December graduates total 174 with with 33 receiving multiple degrees.
A reception for the graduates and their families will follow Commencement in the college cafeteria.
