WVU Parkersburg Orientation sessions scheduled for new students.

West Virginia University at Parkersburg is offering several free Orientation sessions for students who will be new to the college this fall.

"The orientation sessions are designed to share information which will help students have a successful year," said Violet Mosser, admissions counselor. Workshops will also be offered for parents or spouses as part of the sessions. There will be a faculty and student panel available to answer questions as well.

Orientation sessions are scheduled at WVU Parkersburg on Wednesday, July 16, 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.; Thursday, July 24, 6 p.m. – 9 p.m., and Tuesday, August 5, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. In addition, orientation will be held at WVU Parkersburg’s Jackson County Center are Tuesday, July 15, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. and Thursday, August 7, 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.

Fall classes begin August 18.  Additional information about the new student Orientation sessions is available by calling the college, 424-8000 or the JCC office in Ripley, 372-6992.
