American Sampler Nov. 10-11

More than 20 exhibitors will be featured Friday and Saturday (Nov. 10-11) at the 18th annual American Sampler at West Virginia University at Parkersburg.

Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday (Nov. 10), and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, (Nov. 11), in the college's multi-purpose room. Craft items will include hand-made ornaments and wooden utensils, custom-made fishing lures, hand-crafted guitars, and a variety of jewelry and handbags.

The show features crafts by WVU Parkersburg students, faculty and staff as well as the handiwork of regional crafters. Several commercial vendors are also participating. Concessions, a "white elephant sale" and various bake sales will also be featured as part of the sampler.

This is the 18th year for the college's craft showcase. Proceeds benefit Staff Council activities.
