WVU Parkersburg Employee Recognition Brunch

WVU Parkersburg recognizes employee contributions during annual brunch.

West Virginia University at Parkersburg recognized commitment and dedication to the institution during its annual Employee Recognition brunch held Wednesday (May 10.)

Bob Cooper, trades worker, was named employee of the year by Staff Council. Student Government recognized Phil McClung, professor of psychology, as faculty member of the year.

Also honored were three retiring faculty members who represent more than 75 years of teaching experience: Paul Bibbee, professor of drafting, 30 years of service; Dottie Bibbe, professor of journalism 28 years, and Emily Lamb, professor of English and reading, 19 years.

Among those receiving service awards were Jim Beichler, Chase Brady, Bob Cooper, Denise Honaker, Stephen Hupp, Dave Lancaster, Judy McCullough, Martha McGovern, Jeremy Moore, Peggy Ponce, Craig Rabatin and J.B. Skidmore, all five years of service; Nancy Hindy, Augie Kafer and Sandi Smith, all 10 years of service; Pam Clevenger, Ed Crisp, Cindy Kelley and Martha Leeson, all 15 years of service; Linda Cutright, Rodney Parker and Carl Smith, all 25 years of service, and Henry Aglio, Tim Beardsley, Marshall Griffin, Joyce Kronberg, Jack Simpkin and Sandy Swisher, all 30 years of service.
