WVU Parkersburg offers Health Insurance Customer Service Certificate.

Registration is open for an accelerated certificate in health insurance customer service being offered by West Virginia University at Parkersburg's Center for Corporate and Community Education.
The Fast Track Health Insurance Customer Service Certificate program includes college credit courses in medical terminology, billing, and coding and business communications. If a student maintains a 2.0 grade-point average in all classes, an Undergraduate Certificate and Fast Track Certificate will be awarded listing the learned skills, noted Michele Wilson, program coordinator. The program's courses can also be applied toward the college's Associate in Applied Science degree in Business Technology.
The classes will run Monday through Friday from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m., beginning Monday, January 23rd. The last day of classes will be Friday, April 21st. Days that classes will not be held are January 25th and March 14th, 15th, 16th, and 17th.
Fast Track training programs provide participants with access to quick, convenient training that represents job areas currently in demand in West Virginia. The programs are delivered in 90 calendar days or less.The health insurance customer service program is limited to a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 15 students.
