WVU Parkersburg Student Government to observe "Support Our Troops Week."

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASEWest Virginia University at Parkersburg's Student Government Association is sponsoring "Support Our Troops Week," beginning Monday (Sept. 17), in a salute to the country's armed services.
Monday (Sept. 17) will be "Camo Day." Students and faculty are asked to wear camouflage for the day. Student government representatives are encouraging the campus community to wear red, white and blue on Tuesday (Sept. 18) which will be "Red, White and Blue and Patriotic Ribbon" day. Yellow ribbons will be provided by student government.
On campus Wednesday (Sept. 19) will be representatives of the U.S. armed forces as part of "Military Appreciation" day. Events will include a free barbecue, a flight simulator demonstration, and displays by representatives from all branches of the military. Activities will be held on the campus back lawn.
The week of observance will conclude with a blood drive Thursday (Sept. 20) in the multi-purpose room from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
