WVU Parkersburg production of "I Never Sang For My Father" set Nov. 2-4.

A production of Robert Anderson's "I Never Sang For My Father" will be staged Friday through Sunday, Nov. 2-4, at West Virginia University at Parkersburg.
Performances are at 7 p.m., Friday (Nov. 2) and Saturday (Nov. 3), and 2 p.m., Sunday (Nov. 4) in the college's theatre. The shows are free and open to the public.
Anderson's Tony-Award nominated play, which became a 1970 Gene Hackman and Melvyn Douglas Oscar-nominated film, is an examination of parent-child/father-son relations.
WVU Parkersburg's production is under the direction of Jeffrey Byrd and is being presented by the Theatre Department and the college's University Players. Additional information is available by contacting Byrd at the college, 424-8295.
