More than 600 years of service by faculty and staff were recognized recently at West Virginia University at Parkersburg's annual Employee Recognition Brunch.

Service awards were presented to the following staff and faculty:  Five Years' Service - Dianne Davis, Dana Mader and Emmanuel Ogwude; Ten Years' Service - William Brown, Joyce Burdette, Angela Carmichael, Willard Douglas, Cynthia Gissy, Amy Richards, Sharon Smith, Jason Stark and Brenda Wells; Fifteen Years' Service - Karen Branham, Allen Collins, Chris Cunningham, Tammy Harper, Jay Hart, Jeanie Jones, Denise McClung, Melody Mercer and Carol St. Peter; Twenty Years' Service - Debra Baker, Dennis Carnes and Robert Cordell; Twenty-Five Years' Service - Rose Beebe, Daniel Williamson and Michael Wolfe; Thirty Years' Service - William Andrews, James Haines and Linda Meyers.

Also recognized were adjunct faculty for their service to the institution:  Five Years' Service - Susan Allen, Terren Bichard, Christopher Brown, Timothy Brunicardi, Sharon Carroll, Connie Frazier, Raymond Lamp, Kevin Lebo, David McCutcheon, Lawrence McKenzie, Emmanuel Ogwude, Robert Richards, Michael Samson, Parul Shah, Ginger Straight, James Walker, Charles White and Mary White; Fifteen Years' Service - Greg Hill and Terry Tamburini, and Twenty Years' Service - Tanya Ball.   

During the program, three retirees were honored:  Connie Cadle, associate professor of reading; Anthony Crinieri, professor of business, and Cecelia Malhotra, director of admissions/registrar.

Other awards were presented by various campus groups, including staff council, faculty senate and student government.  The annual brunch celebrates the accomplishments and service of the institution's faculty, classified staff and administrators.
