WVU Parkersburg students, staff and faculty and DuPont employees to participate in "A Day ON, Not a Day Off" service project on Monday, Jan. 21, 2008

West Virginia University at Parkersburg, in conjunction with DuPont, will celebrate the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday on Monday (Jan. 21) with a 'A Day ON, Not a Day Off' service project. WVU Parkersburg students, staff, faculty and DuPont employees will be involved in a painting project at Worthington Elementary School from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the 21st. The volunteers will paint various areas of the elementary school, including hallways and restrooms, to honor King's legacy through community service.

The project will provide photo and interview opportunities.

WVU Parkersburg's campus will be closed in observance of the holiday.
