FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASEWest Virginia University at Parkersburg is sponsoring a free Environmental Compliance seminar on Friday, August 7.
The 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. session will be held in the college's Workforce and Community Education building complex. Lunch will be provided to participants.
Presenters will be Terry Polen, business ombudsman at the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection and assistant professor at Marshall University, and Carol Cather of the state DEP.
Purpose of the seminar is to provide an opportunity for area officials involved in environmental compliance to learn of updates regarding regulations and promulgations.
Advanced registration is requested and may be accomplished by visiting the WCE website or contacting Tom Lemon, WCE director of technical programs, at 304-424-8276.
