West Virginia University at Parkersburg is sponsoring the second of a series of Environmental Compliance seminars on Friday, October 2nd.
This seminar’s focus is WV New Source Review Air Permitting. Topics will include NSR regulations and air permit calculations, as well as a virtual plant where participants will walk through the air permitting process step-by-step.
The 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. session will be held in the college's Workforce and Community Education building complex. Lunch will be provided to participants.

ost of the seminar is $35 or included in $300 annual membership.Presenters will be Dr. Terry Polen, business ombudsman at the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection and professor at Strayer University, and Carroll Cather of the WV DEP.
Purpose of the seminar is to provide an opportunity for area professionals involved in environmental compliance to learn of updates regarding regulations and promulgations.
