Coldwater Creek Lecture Series program to feature local entrepreneurs.

" Local Entrepreneurs - Their Challenges and Opportunities" will be the next Coldwater Creek Lecture Series presentation at West Virginia University at Parkersburg.

It will be held at 5 p.m., Thursday (April 15) in the college's Theatre (Room 1305) and is free and open to the public.

Featured will be Mid-Ohio Valley entrepreneurs Kiki Angelos and Dominique Holl.

Mrs. Angelos is a native of Athens, Greece where she met her husband Francis who was attending the Athens Conservatory of Music at the time.  Mrs. Angelos opened the Olympic Deli in 1978 which existed for 18 years before she and her husband opened Auntie Anne's Soft Pretzels and Great Steak Grill in the Grand Central Mall food court.

Holl is president of Holl's Chocolates, Inc. a small, family-owned producer of high quality Swiss chocolates with shops in Vienna and Charleston.  Holl's was founded by Fritz Holl, a Swiss trained chocolatier and pastry chef, and his wife Elisabeth in 1986. Dominique joined the family business in 1992 after graduating from West Virginia University with a degree in International Studies.

The Coldwater Creek Lecture Series is sponsored by Coldwater Creek and coordinated by WVU Parkersburg’s Business, Economics, and Mathematics Division.
