WVU Parkersburg to host "The China Hour: A Tour of Chinese Culture."

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
West Virginia University at Parkersburg will host a free presentation on "The China Hour: A Tour of Chinese Culture" to be held at 7:15 p.m., Tuesday, April 5, in the college theatre (Room 1305).
Featured will be Dr. Chen Wan, a product developer at SABIC Innovative Plastics. His presentation will provide the audience with a one-hour "tour" of Chinese culture through history, art, poetry, daily life and recent cultural transformations.
Dr. Wan received his bachelor's and master's degrees in chemical engineering in China and his doctorate in material science and engineering from the New Jersey Institute of technology. He spends significant time studying Chinese traditional culture and history.
His presentation
is open to the public.
In
observance of National Poetry Month, the program is co-sponsored by WVU
Parkersburg's Office for Global Initiatives and the Humanities Speakers Series.
