| May 11, 2011 WVU Parkersburg College Chorale's spring concert to be held May 13 and 15, 2011. CONTACT: Dr. H.G. Young III, professor of music, 304-42-48248. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE The College Chorale of West Virginia University at Parkersburg will presents its spring concert on Friday (May 13) at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Marietta, and repeat it on Sunday (May 15) at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Parkersburg. Both free concerts begin at 7 p.m. and are open to the public. The concerts will include music by Dominick Argento, Pavel Chesnokov, Joan Szymko, Abbie Betinis and Eric Whitacre and selections from South Africa, Argentina and Mongolia. The Chorale is under the direction of H.G. Young III, professor of music. cd11/511 |
