You use the
assignments
tool to view, complete, submit, and
publish assignments. Each
assignment has a due date. Your
instructor may allow you to
submit an assignment after the due
date, but it will be marked
late.
Otherwise, assignments not received
by the due date will be marked
missed.
The assignments area
is divided into the following sections:
- Inbox
-
this tab contains new
assignments or submissions returned
to you for editing
-
Submitted
- this tab contains your submissions
and any assignments for which you
have missed the cutoff date
-
Graded
- this tab contains submissions
reviewed by the instructor
-
Published
- this tab contains submissions that
you or the instructor published so
all members of the course can view
them
To
complete an assignment, you can
enter text on the
assignments
screen or attach files. You are
given instructions on whether to
complete the assignment by yourself
or to collaborate with a group of
students.
-
From
the assignments screen, click the
Inbox tab. Click on the
title of the
assignment.

- Read the instructions
carefully. If your instructor
has opted to attached the
instructions as a separate file
rather than typing them out, you
can download them by clicking
the link next to
Attachments.
-
Be
sure to note the due date and
type (i.e., whether you
should complete the assignment by
yourself or with a group). If you
work with a group, your group must
submit one assignment, so you must
coordinate with other members. All
members of your group will receive
the same grade for the assignment.

- If you want to
enter text for your assignment,
do one of the following:
- To enter plain
text, type it in the
Submission
text box.
- To enter text and
HTML tags, click
Enable HTML
Creator.

help menu's Using the HTML

- If you want to
attach files:

Attachments. The
Content
Browser pop-up window
