Executive Summary: Tell the Whole StoryWhen writing an Executive Summary, it's important to tell the whole story. If you have written a proposal or term paper that is 30 pages long, you should be able to summarize it in two pages. That's the Executive Summary. Since business people are always in a hurry, it's likely that the Executive Summary is all they may ever read. If you've put the most important part of your proposal and recommendations on page 26 of 30, it will likely never get read or acted on.
