New Student Orientation 2008
Welcome to WVU Parkersburg! We have some exciting Orientation to College sessions planned to help you get started in college.
Free Sessions. Our free sessions are approximately three hours in length. You will have four sessions from which to choose on the Parkersburg campus and two at the Jackson County Center. At each session, students will receive training on our student email system, learn how to connect to the student registration system, obtain a library card and Master Student ID, and have your student photo ID taken.
In addition, students will be able to attend sessions on financial aid, student life/security, Learning Center and tutoring, and veterans/displaced workers benefits. There will also be a faculty panel discussing expectations in the classroom. The campus Bookstore will be open during the Orientation sessions.

Parkersburg Campus Orientation dates are:
5:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 29th
5:30 p.m., Tuesday, August 5
9 a.m., Thursday, August 7
5:30 p.m., Thursday, August 14
The sessions will begin in the Multi-Purpose Room. Please call (304) 424-8310 to RSVP for the Parkersburg sessions. You can also register by e-mail . Parents and guests are welcome! We will need your name, which session you are attending and the number of guests coming with you.
Jackson County Center Orientation dates are:
1 p.m., Tuesday, July 8
6 p.m., Thursday, August 7
