Course Requirements: Physical attendance.

Course Description:  Open to all ages, this class will serve as an introduction to programming. Participants will learn the applications of programming, how to get started, as well as an overview of the top three computer code languages. Programming is a language used by humans to communicate with computers.

Co-requisites:  none

Course Learning Outcomes (CLO): 

• Have an introduction into programming, the processes involved and how it is commonly used.
• Learn what programming languages to use and when
• Understand that you can program and do anything with practice and time

Topics to be studied:

• Introduction to programming languages (python, c#, Javascript)
• Examples of different types of programming, website, mobile app, game, data science
• The different programming languages and what they are good at
• The best programming languages for beginners (python and c#)
• Replit account creation and small project
