A.A.S. in Agribusiness
If you are interested in turning your passion into profit, then the Associate of Applied Science in Agribusiness may be the degree for you! As an agribusiness student, you will experience hands-on courses, conveniently located at The Riverhawk Farm. Students will develop an understanding of what it takes to run & maintain a farm operation, while also acquiring skills to transition easily into any working agribusiness.
Learn and Earn
West Virginia University at Parkersburg offers students the opportunity to gain paid work experience while completing their degree through a state-funded program called Learn and Earn.
The Learn and Earn program is sponsored by the West Virginia Community and Technical College System and is part of the Workforce Development Initiative Program. It is an opportunity to create partnerships between industry and community and technical colleges by allowing students hands-on learning experience, and employers to train ideal future employees. Associate of Applied Science in Agribusiness
Our Associate of Applied Science in Agribusiness develops knowledge, skills, and abilities in managing and operating a successful agribusiness. This degree includes business courses that provide you with the knowledge to manage the financial and management aspects of farming, from production marketing to production sales.
